The Rain Review

Can you imagine your family’s and friend’s lives being ended just by pouring rain? What would you do if you were the last one standing? The answer is simple: survive or die.

Netflix’s post-apocalyptic thriller, “The Rain,” is about two siblings’ journey six years after a rain borne virus wipes out a whole population. They join a small group of survivors seeking answers and a cure that could save the rest of humanity.

Similar to shows like “The 100”, you can’t expect what will happen as enemies are everywhere and the characters that you start to feel emotionally connected to can die at any moment.

“The Rain” starts slow with the first two episodes, yet after that, it becomes addicting to the point where you lose track of how much you watched. It can be finished within a couple of days as each of the three seasons averages six to eight episodes and becomes more intense.

It also turns into something more than just “rain” as the season’s progress and antagonists come into play. I will admit that there are a couple of plot holes and lingering questions after the show ends, but you can find most of the answers to your questions online.

I don’t want to spoil anything for you, so what I can tell you is that this is a fantastic show that you don’t want to miss out on. You can watch the YouTube trailer below:
