Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich Documentary Review

“Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich Documentary” is another traumatic story, like Surviving R.Kelly, that demonstrates how our justice system lets members of the elite class get away with anything.
The four-part docuseries’ emphasizes the similarity of the survivor's stories with a serial sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. The teenagers would hear from other girls in school about a rich guy who paid girls hundreds of dollars to give him a massage. What they didn’t know is that once they stepped into that room, Epstein would take advantage of them.
They had one of three options:
Flee from his home
Do whatever he wants and get paid
Refuse and recruit other girls to get paid
No one did the first option as they didn’t know any better or had personal circumstances at home where they needed the money. Eventually, the amount of women Epstein preyed on expanded through word of mouth and became a sex trafficking ring.
For eleven years, Epstein pleaded the Fifth to dispositions and used money to make him invincible to the law. Then when he was finally convicted last year, he died from “suicide” in his jail cell soon after. There are a few controversies about how the guards could have murdered Epstein or how he could have faked his death which isn’t far fetched ideas if you watch the documentary.
Either way, he escaped the full consequences of his actions. Epstein, just like R.Kelly, had a whole network who helped him carry out his crimes and recruit women for him.
There is still more to the story that needs to be uncovered but hopefully, there will be a part two that will expose Epstein’s friends and accomplices who disclaimed him after his conviction. (i.e. Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Harvey Weinstein, etc)
Filthy Rich is an emotionally driven, compelling documentary that you should watch. I will admit that there is no sugarcoating in the survivor's stories so prepare to hear every disturbing detail told from the beginning to the end.
